Rotary Club of Albury Joins Easter Egg Hunt

FoodShare is excited to be partnering with the Rotary Club of Albury as the Major Event Partner for the 2025 Border Easter Egg Hunt, which promises a day full of fun, festivities and great entertainment for families.

This partnership highlights the Rotary Club of Albury's continued commitment to the local community and will help FoodShare to deliver a great community event, while raising awareness to improve food security so everyone has access to essential healthy food.

Katrina Pawley, FoodShare CEO, expressed her gratitude for this support by saying “We are thrilled to continue our longstanding relationship with the Rotary Club of Albury. They have supported us greatly over the years, and it’s fantastic they are able to support us to deliver this beloved community event.”

With over 1,500 people from the region expected to attend the event, Michael Kliese, President of the Rotary Club of Albury, shared why the club chose to support this event. “As a community service organisation, we are proud to partner with FoodShare and support initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of local families. The Border Easter Egg Hunt is a wonderful event that brings the community together while raising awareness for food security. We are excited to be part of it and look forward to seeing families come together to create lasting memories.”

With the Rotary Club of Albury’s generous sponsorship and hands-on involvement, the Border Easter Egg Hunt 2025 is set to be a truly memorable event. Families are encouraged to join the fun, get creative with their Easter hats, and contribute to a cause that helps strengthen the community.

The Border Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday 5 April, at the Albury Botanic Gardens. For more information download the event flyer or click here to purchase tickets.

Hop to the Border Easter Egg Hunt

The Border Easter Egg Hunt is on again in the Albury Botanic Gardens on Saturday 5 April 2025.

It will be a family-fun day with lots of free activities for kids as well as food stalls and coffee vans.

Kids can hop over to the Easter egg hunt to seek out up to three foam eggs hidden in the gardens, which can be exchanged for chocolate eggs.

The Easter bunny will be making a special appearance. Kids can meet and take photos with the bunny, making it an Easter experience they won't forget!

You need a ticket to join the Border Easter Egg Hunt and collect your wristband on the day. The hunt will be divided areas based on age so everyone has a chance to gather some Easter eggs.

All participants will be entered into the major prize draw, which will be announced on the day. Avoid eggs-tra long queues at the event by getting your tickets online, which also doubles your chances in the major prize draw!

This year children are encouraged to make their own festive Easter hat at home and bring it along to take part in the Easter Hat Parade. The most eggstraordinary creations will be rewarded with a special prize, making this a fantastic opportunity for kids to show off their creativity.

This is a community event with great entertainment for children and families looking for some fun in the lead up to Easter.

This event raises money for Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare to provide food for families in our community experiencing hardship.
