FoodShare is proud to recognise the ongoing generosity of APCO and their continued commitment to supporting local families experiencing food insecurity.
For the past two years, APCO has provided $15,000 in annual grant funding to help keep FoodShare’s fleet on the road. This vital support helps cover the fuel costs of our delivery vans, ensuring nutritious food can reach the agencies, schools and communities that rely on our service every day.
In the 2025/26 financial year alone, FoodShare’s volunteers travelled more than 84,000 kilometers, collecting rescued food and delivering it across our region. Every kilometer travelled helps put good food into the hands of local people who need it most.
Beyond their financial support, the team at APCO Albury and Wodonga have consistently gone above and beyond to support FoodShare’s work. FoodShare Operations Manager Sue Thornton said APCO’s partnership is one the organisation greatly values.
