Help us feed more local families this winter.

Let's make winter a little warmer for locals

There are many ways you can get involved and support locals doing it tough this winter:

  • Donate food or funds to our appeal. You can find a list of our most needed items on our Appeal Poster. All financial donations over $2 are tax deductible.

  • Start a Winter Warmer Box: Each day, add a non-perishable item, then drop it off at the FoodShare FoodDrive.

  • Join our Regular Giving Program: Donate $25 a month and provide ongoing support to locals well beyond the winter months.

Together, we can make sure more families feel supported, nourished, and cared for this winter.

Donate a Winter Warmer Box: Fill a box with essential groceries, and drop it off at the FoodDrive for FoodShare on Saturday 13 June .

Host a Neighbourhood Donation Drive: Invite your neighbours to contribute a few grocery items and set up a collection spot on your street. A simple way to support the community during the colder months.

Team Up to Give Back: Bring your team together at work, in sport, or within your community group to collect donations for families in need. It’s a meaningful way to support your community and make a real difference this season.

Run a School Food Drive: Encourage students to collect donations as a class or year group — a great way to learn about kindness and community spirit.

Add Extras to Your Weekly Shop: Pick up a few extra non-perishables each week — rice, pasta, tinned food, or toiletries — and donate them to help local families in need.

Join Our Regular Giving Program

Across our region, 100,000 people will face the season unsure where their next meal is coming from.  This winter, let’s give differently.

Your monthly donation helps local families access the food, stability, and dignity we all deserve, not just today, but all year round.

Because when we give differently, we create lasting change.

Building food security, together
for 15 years

For 15 years, FoodShare has been a trusted part of the community, responding to crises like COVID and bushfires, expanding support across regions, and earning recognition through major community awards. FoodShare is more than a charity; it’s essential infrastructure supporting long-term food security.

Our community needs us, now more than ever.
Food insecurity is rising, with 1 in 3 Australian households affected in the past year. As cost-of-living pressures grow, demand for FoodShare services continues to increase — making community support more critical than ever.
