Allen

Community Pantry & Warehouse
Allen has been with FoodShare for a decade, driving for the Community Pantry and navigating for the Warehouse. He volunteers to support local people and enjoys the social side of the role, especially meeting new faces along the way.

Andrew

Community Pantry & Community Garden
For the past 18 months, Andrew has been a regular in the Community Pantry, stepping in as a van driver when needed, and lending a hand in the Community Garden to grow fresh food for the shop. He loves helping others and says the experience is incredibly rewarding — giving him more than he gives.

Bronwyn

Warehouse
Bronwyn has spent the past two years helping keep our warehouse running smoothly, from packing orders and sorting fresh produce to supporting fundraising and jam making. She enjoys meeting new people, giving back to the community, and staying social — all while doing something meaningful and fun.

Claire

Warehouse
Claire has been volunteering with FoodShare for four years, helping sort and pack agency orders. She’s also our Food Safety Supervisor for jam making and coordinates Myer’s Christmas wrapping. Claire loves the people, the purpose, and making a difference — and she’s passionate about reducing food waste

Cyndy

Community Pantry
Cyndy has been volunteering for 10 months, driving and navigating our van to support the Community Pantry. She enjoys helping people, finds the work fun, and values having a reason to get out and be active — all while meeting a real need in the local community.

Gus

Warehouse
For six years, Gus has been a valued part of our team, driving the van to collect supermarket donations and helping with day-to-day warehouse operations. Retired from full-time work, he wanted to be more involved in the community — and says it’s a great feeling to contribute locally.

Nina

Community Pantry
For the past year, Nina has been a friendly face in the Community Pantry, helping participants in the shop, packing crisis hampers, and pitching in wherever needed. She values the chance to give a hand up to those who need it and enjoys the sense of community and structure it brings to her week.

Warehouse
For the past four years, Tony has been a key part of our delivery team, driving the van for pick-ups and drop-offs every Monday and Friday. Now retired, he values giving back to the community in a meaningful way and enjoys being part of a friendly team that makes a real difference locally.
