FoodShare is looking for a Project Coordinator who is driven to help grow our ability to rescue and share food. Working closely with the CEO you will be responsible for the expansion of FoodShare under the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Food Rescue Grant.
The Feed More, Waste Less project will identify new food suppliers (supermarkets, farmers and food manufacturers) to divert food from landfill. The rescued food will be shared with an enhanced network of food relief organisations to help those struggling to put food on the table.
We are looking for a dynamic person with excellent communication skills, good networking skills and experience with managing projects. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate their ability to analyse data to show the impact of this project on the environment and community members experiencing food insecurity.
The Project Coordinator will be employed for 38 hours per week until 30 June 2027. This position will be classified as level 4 to 5 (depending on experience) in line with the SCHCADS award.
