Stay at home heroes

If you've connected with your inner master-chef recently, you sound like someone we'd love to meet!

Simply choose ingredients from your cupboard or pantry, cook up a storm and share your creation with us, then grab your Stay at Home Hero cape and donate!

FoodShare makes a little go a long way: with every $10 donated we can put $40 worth of food in the pantry of families in need.

Each week, our Facebook page will introduce some of the heroes amongst us and we’ll collect recipes for our Stay at Home Heroes cookbook along the way.

Thank you North East Local Learning and Employment Network - NELLEN!

FoodShare put out a call for a generous local business or donor to sponsor the purchase of 50 new volunteer vests.

CEO Bev Hoffman jumped on the phone to sponsor our new volunteer vests, saying "NELLEN understands the value of volunteering and gaining work experience in a variety of workplaces, and how volunteers contribute to the health of our community. We're so pleased to be able to support FoodShare's work".

NELLEN will appear on the back of the Vests as a small way of acknowledging the value of their $500 contribution.

Great to have you on board, NELLEN.
